| History | The Croatian school in Canberra was established in 1972 by Croatian nuns. The school began with
50 students and grew rapidly in the years to follow, with a period when there were close to 300
students. Today it is a small but vibrant school, which offers a wide range of language and culture.
The 2 hours each Friday includes singing, social activities and language lessons. 3 classes currently
exist from beginners to intermediates. There are also adult classes currently running on Monday's
