History The Canberra Sikh Association has been conducting Punjabi classes off and on since 1994. The school in its present form has been running since July 1999.
Other Information The language taught is Punjabi. The script taught is Gurmukhi.

The Punjabi language originated in Punjab, which forms the north-western part of the Indian sub-continent.
